wot a stupid world we live in these days. when i was a kid, most kids ran around naked anyway, nobody cared.. and im sure that even the most wierdest of paedophile would not beat off on a blurred google image, if u want to take pics of your childs first swim in the local pool, u can't nor can u take a camera on the beach! i think most of this paedo rubbish is nonsense im sure most are either behind bars or at least know about in this day in age.. and if i was the parants of that child i would not be making so much fuss!!

in the day of technology where pictures are being taken faster than the frame rate of a HDTV set ( I believe its up to 240hz now )
you are more likely to get caught with a picture taken with your finger up your nose or naked - is it right ? no . not really . but at the same breath if you want to protect your kid from the creepy's that are out there you PUT CLOTHES ON YOUR KID! Irate 25year old ?
one word .. Nutjob...
Google .. ...blur out the nakedness wouldn't hurt a bit ..cuz right now instead of directions to Fry's ... we directions to the nearest grocery store for PAMPERS(rm)...

yup i agree what on earth was she thinking letting her kid run around naked in public view. But also Google should alter or digitally remove the child. It's improper.

Stupid parents. Stupid, stupid parents. INCREDIBLY stupid parents.

However, that does not excuse Google for posting kiddie porn. That's illegal in most places, I believe.

Bad Google. Very bad Google.

On the one hand, if you're going to go outside naked or allow your kids to do that, then it's your fault. On the other hand, I don't see why Google doesn't just blur the kid. In fact, that should be a law or something. Google Street View shouldn't be a Peeping Tom tool. Google Street View seems more shady every day. Criminals use it to case houses, and who knows what else.

Well, actually Google is in violation of child pornography laws here. The problem is not that the kid is naked and not that it's picture has been taken - the pronlem is that said picture has been posted on the Internet. So, however, inadvertently, Google, based in US, is breaking a US law.

No, this is stupid; lady just because you left your child unsupervised and he was playing outside NAKED, does not mean that Google now needs to have red tape everywhere to take public photos from the street, which "bustapr" just stated are a public location (obviously..). DRESS YOUR CHILD WHEN HE GOES OUTSIDE!!!!

So my question is...why the HELL would any parent with half of a living brain cell allow their kid to be visible from outside, naked? You DO realize there are pedophiles out there, right? I smell extortion in the making here. Yup, lets sue Google because I can even though it's my own damn fault!

I agree with people here that says that parent exist for a reason, to tell children what's appropriate and not. I also think that Google should censor the face of the kid, or face the consequenses of a society that does not approve of kiddie porn. Cencor or get sued! That is all.

Google needs no permission to view what is public property. This lady needs to "get real." If you let your kid run naked outdoors, ANYONE has the right to photograph and view that! So if you don't want your kid SEEN naked in photographs or not, don't let your kid outside naked. How is this not clear?

Google never captures anything you couldn't potential see walking down the street. Its the parents fault for letting the kid run around naked. And although they should have censored it at request, it is still not their responsibility to prevent the kid running around naked outside, not to mention the cars are pretty obvious, why wouldn't you do something about it when you saw them coming?
