Monitor HDMI output using CAT5e for Camera

I have used an HDMI to CAT5e conversion from my monitor to my camera, which has a CAT5e connection with no results. HELP!!

If your camera has a RJ45 (Cat5) connection, then you probably need to connect it to your router. What make and model camera ?

It's an AMCREST 1080 POE Bullet Camera, supplied by my POE 10/100 Mbps switch.

Connect a PC or laptop to the POE switch and use the software provided with the camera.
You can't connect directly to a monitor because the camera doesn't output video directly, it outputs ethernet traffic. That ethernet has to be interpreted by software running on a computer or tablet/phone to display a picture.
