Monitor Resolution = black screen.

I have a laptop with an integrated GFX. It's intel core i7-4710HQ(hd 4600). I have dual monitor, but the second monitor won't go up to 1920 x 1080. My main monitor (laptop screen) is at 1920 x 1080 but the second monitor only goes up to 1680 x 1050 when it's 1920x1080 resolution. I get a black screen when i put it up to 1920x1080 for my second monitor. What do I do? How do I get it to work on 1920 x 1080 resolution. On my desktop, I have an AMD GFX and it works with my second monitor at 1920 x 1080 resolution.

In case of confusion: My second monitor is 1920x1080, but when I put 1920x1080 resolution, i get a black screen. The highest resolution that works is 1680x1050. After that, black screen.

hello there are u trying to run and external monitor off of your integrated graphics and the screen on your laptop? because it sounds like that your integrated graphics chip cant handle 1920x1080 on 2 monitors only 1920x1080 on one monitor and a lower resolution on the either hope this helps
