Motherboard Graphics Swap?

Hello all at Toms! 😀
I have a Dell Latitude E5400 Laptop, it originally came with Windows Vista, 1GB RAM and a 60GB HDD. It is now upgraded to a 500GB HDD, 3GB RAM and Windows 7.

HOWEVER

It sucks because I am running it on a 'Mobile Intel (R) 4 Express Family Chipset'.
There is another model of the E5400 (in fact there is one with XP) running Windows 7 with 4GB ram, 250GB HDD etc.
Anyways, that one has Nvidia graphics in it. Nvidia NB9M-GE to be exact.
Can I swap the motherboard in this one for the motherboard in that one?

There can be alot of problems with upgrading the motherboard. Remember when doing this you are basic all making a new pc. THere are also questions very laptop specific:

Is the cpu soldiered to the board?

How expensive is this because at this point a new laptop may be just as expensive as the motherboard swap and it could have a second gen i3 which is faster then the core 2 from that age (considering it came with vista). Also with a new system you get new battery, components, screen, and a better overall product then something that age due to competition and advancements. I am saying this because old components like this can sometimes end up being ridiculously expensive to the cost of a new system that is better anyways. The benefit will not fit the investment because you will have a much higher gain with a new system.

just buy a gaming laptop or better yet a desktop

dont bother destroying the current one trying to make it into something its not

its not hard its just not worth the effort

I built a gaming desktop a month ago, then decided I needed portability, so I sold it, got an Asus Transformer, decided I needed Windows, traded it, then got this 😛
