Solved! Mousepad help

Hello,
I went to clean my laptop today and my mousepad has become unconnected, like the little strip thingy, and I'm having an impossible time getting it back in. I've searched the web for tips or tutorials and have found none..

I have a sony vaio, model PCG71312L. Any help would be spirochetes

Clip the ribbon cable back with the plastic bit.
