Whats up everyone?
Alright so I have been looking at which one of these two to get for the last 3 weeks and can't really come to a decision. They are almost mirrors of each other! Read and watched for hours about the Pros and Cons of each etc. My findings show that
MSI GT72 has:
Pros
Better sound
Upgradeable Graphics (deadly)
Keyboard is Stylish
All Metal Chassis
Cons
Louder
Runs a little hotter (everyone had different opinions!)
Screen is not an ISP
IN a few ways not as good looking

Asus G751 has:
Pros
IPS screen
Quieter fans
Runs cooler
Better looking design in some ways
Cons
Sound is not as good
Graphics are not upgradeable
Keyboard is one color
Its a mix between metal and plastic (A lot of people were saying its a finger-print magnet)

They both have the same CPU's, pretty well the same GPU's, size is about the same, benchmarks and all that were almost the same, and cost doesn't vary much between the two.
SO with all that they balance each other out right? From personal experience which one would you go for??
Thanks in advance :)

Looking for a gamer myself I had exact same choice, so I read more on specs and design.
I chose MSI GT72 2QD 256NE.
Yeah its the small version, but I plan on upgrading ssd and ram over time to spread the cashflow.
But here's what made my mind, right or wrong :ange:

G751 have either 2 sata slots or 1 sata slot and 1 m.2 ssd
GT72 have either 2 sata slots or 1 sata slot and 4 m.2 ssd slots with raid support.

G751 all have 3gb on 970m and 4gb on 980m graphic
GT72 some have 6gb on 970m and 8gb on 980m graphic

G751 comes with 4 usb 3.0 ports.
GT72 comes with 6, well its not important until you need just one more port

GT72 have easy access to fans for cleaning, don't know about asus.

On temperature G751 wins.
But in the GT72 I'm seeing only 70 Celsius on cpu and gpu on full load and sure you can hear the fans working,
but no tornado like gt70.
Actually I don't notice them at all when I game anyway, as the sound level from game is way higher than the fans :D

To be honest it was no contest after checking the little details.
To me GT72 just beats G751 on everything but noise and aesthetics.
