Multimedia and moderate gaming 15.6' laptop under $1,000?

Hey folks. You guys helped out a bunch earlier today with recommendations, so I'm back for more.

I'd like to find a laptop around $1,000 with the following:

• 
  Primarily for multimedia (music, videos)
  Moderate gaming, enough to play current games at about medium quality or better
  15.6" monitor
  At least 16 GB max memory
  SSD boot + larger HDD
  Full HD screen preferably with IPS

Don't care about touchscreen or 2-in-1 or anything like that. Just solid, generally fast, and casual gaming.

I think I'll recommend looking at the MSI GE60 Apache Pro-003 although you might go over budget with customizing. A slightly less expensive option might be the MSI GP60 Leopard-1053 which will give you a little more headroom for customization.

Lenovo Y50.

I've looked at the Y50, but I"m apprehensive. I wasn't impressed with my Y500, and the screen on the Y50 is supposed to be awful.
