I bought 3 days ago an Asus Q302L with Windows 8.1 x64. The first 2 days the scroll option worked fine and the enlarge and reduce screen too. After several automatic windows updates it stopped working. In the mouse options in the control panel I've uninstalled the drivers. Now, when trying to install them again from this link: Synaptics_v17_0_19_C_XP32_Vista32_Win7-32_XP64_Vista64_Win7-64_Acme_Inc. windows tells me that install failed...
Browsing the internet I've seen that some people laptops mouse driver is named synaptics touch pad or something like that, but in my case it wasn't synaptics, it was just mouse? or device? I don't remember exactly how it appears before uninstalling but the multifinger option wasn't running anyway...

Ideas?
Thanks in advance

Smart gesture is installed in my PC and there all the multi touch options appear as enabled. However they don't work...

Help please

i've also tried to apply troubleshooting and in fact it encounters that:
unknown device doesn't have a driver: not fixed.
hardware changes might not have been detected: detected
