Music Player Software other than itunes?

So I'm just going to say it. I straight up hate itunes.

So I was wondering if any of my forum buddies could suggest other music players. Also not a fan of Pandora because its random music according to what it think I like which its hardly ever right about. I just want my music.

Heard Spotify is good but never seen how it even looks and beyond itunes I've only used Grooveshark but also not a big fan of because they dont have some older songs that I listen to.
