Music plays through optical but no DVD sound

Music cd plays through my amplifier but DVD produces no sound using optical from player to amplifier.

Must have something to do with sampling rate? My initial testing was not done with Blu-ray Disc. Seems to play blu-Ray just fine.

Try changing the audio output type in the player menu. Stereo PCM should work on all discs.
