my bad, i mistakenly thought the upgrade is for the 600E, some of which
also use the mmc2 packaging.
Back a year or 2, the price difference between 600x and the A or T
series was substantial. Now, it is not. By going to A or T series, you
also upgrade the video for the gaming enthusiasts.
Personally, 600e will do fine. the Apps i use do not require a great
deal of speed. To address slow window startup and shutdown issues, i
use the more stable windows 2000 hibernate and resume feature; it does
the trick for me.
