Even the Russians didn't object when the airport mission in MW2. Because they know it's fiction... nothing is real.

ah well...hey really cant ban a game for this reason...it's a fictional situation...and hey, you're killing ppl in any damned war game...as long as it's not tasteless...the No Russian mission was kind of...tasteless...however...i think the london mission could be compared to the washington d.c. missions of MW2...and in that sense it shouldn't be upsetting...yeah, ok, the subway bombings (if there are any in the game) may have upset some ppl...but then MW3 doesn't say that, hell yeah, this is awesome...they're saying that we should be stopping ppl who do such things...

basically, don't ban it. we had the MW2 banned in India too (a while after it hit the shelves of stores however) so i hope that MW3 doesn't suffer the same way...

I'm confused- no one had any problems with Crysis 2 or Dead Space 2? Crysis 2 takes place in an apocalyptic New York and Dead Space 2 is just ultra-violent but no one had any problems with those games. I guess it's just the COD label that draws attention.

It's supposed to simulate World War 3, obviously it's going to show some landmarks that are in the main cities (Manhattan, Paris, London, possibly Berlin). People need to grow up and deal with it. If we went around banning everything that was controversial and possibly offensive than we'd have nothing.

i'm russian and i live in canada, so i was able to play the airport level. it didn't bother me. it's a game. I actually enjoyed that level. it was quite entertaining... ... don't buy it if your affended by it........ now back to gears of war 🙂
