My Acer VX15 makes a weird noise

I just bought an Acer VX15 some days ago. I am not sure if it did this weird noise before, possibly yes but I can hear it now and clear because it's 2am. I don't say it is annoying but I want to know what it is. Somehow it reminds me the sound of a HDD. But this laptop comes with an SSD, also whatever it is at least it's not as annoying as an HDD.

It seems it's not related to the fans speed. It sounds at idle and when doing some "hard" work, it doesn't change.

Sounds like a fan to me. However I had to seriously turn up my volume to hear it.

I noticed today that the sound actually disappears when the fans max out (like when in gaming), so it only can be heard when you're idling. So maybe it's the fans.

Nope

Although I do think it's the fan

No issues of extreme heat or thermal throttling so far

I'm sorry you have the same problem, it's a bit annoying

I don't think I could. This is an imported laptop and I didn't aquire it from Acer, rather by a third. I'm from Mexico. Only option I had was refunding so I preferred to do nothing.

yo decidí revisarla en best buy (cuando tenga la oportunidad) porque me inquieta saber que mi computadora teniendo 5 meses de uso ya este dándome problemas, ademas me parece raro que los ventiladores estén prendidos siempre, hasta navegando.

Pd: pasa id de steam si es que juegas
