my asus X551 won't power on and no lights nothing please help

Asus x551 laptop notebook won't power on and the led charging indicator light won't come on......please help

Do you have an ohm meter to check the AC adapter with? The adapter may not be putting put any voltage.

Hi, check the voltage for your adapter, like pugpeg said, but put your multimeter on the scale to read the DC voltage. The voltage is written on the adapter itself.

No lights = possibly dead board. If you don't have or aren't familiar with multimeters/volt-ohm meters, you may need to take it to a technician for a diagnosis.
