my asus x55a won't turn on.

my Asus X55a Is dead. the power light and the number lock light is on no fan no sound. Won't hard start do i need a new mother board or fan?

Check all the power connections...if you have or could borrow a different PSU - try that

Try removing the battery and unplugging the AC adapter, then press the power button 10 times and on the 11th time hold it down for like 30 seconds. Now plug the AC adapter in to the laptop and an electrical outlet (leave the battery out for now) and try to power it on

If it still won't power on check and see if there is a link/activity light near where the AC adapter plugs in and make sure it lights up when you plug the adapter in
