My desktop computer is forced to shut down at 11:30 pm every night, How can I stop it from doing that?

Go to control panel, power plans. Also, examine scheduled tasks.

Go to Administrative tools, Scheduled tasks, and find out which tasks starts at 11:30pm

By a chance - could this be intentional by someone in your family?
