My computers icons is in vlc mode

Hello,my computers icons is in vlc and it effected the whole computer and i can't access programs like power point and internet explorer.

Could you describe the issue in more than one sentence, please? Because there's no such thing as "VLC mode" or an icon being "in VLC."

Are your icons showing up as the VLC icon? If so, this is an issue with file associations where somebody has set VLC to be the default option to open certain files.
