My digital camera, model DMC-FZ18, needs firmware update

I need to find a firmware upgrade for my digital camera. I have firmware 1.05 now and would like to upgrade to 1.08, or 1.09

I know it's going to be hard to find, It's a 2008 model. I've found a couple of links but they're dead, Anybody have an idea where to look?
Unfortunately, the Panasonic site has nothing for discontinued models.

Panasonic is the only supplier of firmware upgrades for it's own equipment, even if firmware updates were available from some other site, they would still have to get them from Panasonic or merely supply you with a link to a Panasonic site.

I bought my silver version in June 2008, but never knew there were firmware updates. Fortunately, I've been using some of the tweaks or skills learned with a 35mm SLR, and the Leica lens system on this digital camera provides great images. I'll now have to order 4GB SD cards, since most stores and cameras now require larger capacity cards.
