So I was taking a look around at cheapish gaming laptops and I managed to stumble upon the Sager NP8130, which comes at a base config of ~$950. My configuration comes to ~$980.

Here are the components that I have in this config:

Display: 15.6” FHD 16:9 LED Backlit Wide screen (1920x1080) Super Clear Matte Type Screen
Processor: 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM, 2.0-2.8GHz, (32nm, 6MB L3 cache)
Video Card: GTX 560M
RAM: 8GB - DDR3 1333MHz Dual Channel Memory
HDD: 500GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache

I have 4 questions:

1. Is it possible to make the graphics switchable by updating drivers or something? (Xotic has no word on that- it just says 3-5 hours of battery life, so I'm assuming no with the default settings)
2. The laptop comes with a 30 day dead pixel warranty, but is purchasing the 1 year dead pixel warranty worth an extra $75?
3. Is it worth upgrading the processor, or should I wait until Ivy Bridge is out? (not in too much of a rush to buy a laptop, but will do it Late Winter or Spring/Summer)
4. Am I getting good value or is there a similar laptop with a lower price (similar being processor and GPU)? It seems like a good deal, but I'd like a second opinion on it.

Thanks for reading.

Solution
1)Yep,the onboard GPU will be used in non 3D tasks and the discrete GPU will be used in 3D apps/games
2)Depends really.I don't think it's worth it,but since the price isn't much, then you may want to get it
3)Which CPU are you considering to upgrade ? (2630QM is a decent CPU)
4)ASUS G53SW comes to mind but that's a little more expensive.(Around $1100-$1200)
