Hi guys, I just got this laptop 2 days ago! As soon as I got this latop, I downloaded GTA V and played for 5 hour straight. When I woke up the next day, my laptop wont turn on. It is frozen at the GIGABYTE booting screen where they ask u Press <F2> for enter setup and stuff. I tried pressing F2, F12, F9 but they all wont work. When I was playing my GTA 5, I turned on 2 fan around the computer so it wont over heat. I hope playing GTA melted my computer 🙁. Also even tho the computer is not loading any thing other than being frozen at beginning GIGABYTE loading page, it is making fan sound too. I hope anyone please help me out!!! I just got this 2 days ago... Thanks!

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving that issue.
- Do a hard reset, unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then test if the laptop will get pass the splash screen.
- Next is to try and disconnect the HDD boot the laptop and see if it gets pass the Gigabyte screen without the HDD and if it does put the HDD back in and see if it will resolve the issue and if once again it gets stuck that means it's your hard disk.
- Lastly, reset BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for couple of seconds, put it back in then boot the laptop.
- If have identified the issue contact Gigabyte support right away since it's still covered by it's factory warranty.
