I want to know best way to plug my laptop to my TV and surround sound if my HDMI port is broke on my TV and there is only the one port now I have HDMI to av cables and they r not working at all either ???

Is dead. Nobody in the West fix these things, todays electronics are throw-away.

You can't convert HDMI (digital video and audio) to AV (analog video and audio) with a passive cable. You need an active converter box.
