Question about connecting up a ROKU Device to HDTV in order to receive Audio/Video Signals via HDMI [Atmos/DTS etc.]?

Your TV will not pass lossless audio like Dolby TrueHD or object based audio like Atmos. Connect the Roku directly to the AVR.
