My home dvd player wont read dvd

I have a Rocksonic DVD Player (Home Theater). It was playing CD's and DVD'd fine. But suddenly it only allows to play CD's not DVD's

The message comes up saying 'no disc', even though I have it inserted.

try a disk that played in the player before.

were any buttons/settings touched?
did you run a disk cleaner through it?
are the dvds clean?

if everything should be okay then maybe the device finally failed on you.

The DVD's that I am using, I have played them before on the same machine. Maybe I am suspecting the settings went off from the remote control or the machine itself.

All the music CD's are playing fine. Originals and the copies are playing fine.
