My HP Pavilion will not come on

Hello,
My HP Pavilion will not come on, all the lights come on but it will not power up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

It's probably best to take it to a professional PC Fixer. Aside from checking that he fan is running over the central processor otherwise every time you try to start it, you may be endangering that processor by overheating it. Does it beep or make other sounds while trying to start? If you put a CD in, does it run and if you have a bootable disk (XP, Vista etc.) try that and see if it boots the system
