hi there
dear sir/madam
i have a laptop hp 510 it was running alrite on internet i gave a command %temp% through start then run place and it opened a window i deleted all files from there then some trogens and other threats started comming in.i decided to recover my system to a factory setting so did that it recoverd but since then couldn.t boot the window xp.
Then i recovered again n again up to 10 times but it didn.t boot the window xp which is its geniun window.
Then i put the real actual hp recovery cd to recover it on its real settings.it recovered the system but window is still not botting on.Now it is showing blue dos screen and restarts automatically again and again.
the message on the blue screen is:IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Usually that error message means a hardware problem. It could either be an overheated (ing) CPU or bad RAM (memory). If your machine has 2 sticks of RAM, try removing one and booting and vice-versa; worse comes to worse, borrow a working stick of RAM from someone and see if it boots. If that is a no go, I would assume that it may be a bad CPU from overheating. Does the laptop run hot?
