Hi, the problem I have with my keyboard is that every key does a wrong function , for example : when i press "c" it types "ed3c", when i press "i" it types "+ik8," when I press "v" it types "gtrf4v" and the key "a" works as "tab".

Here are all the things I tried to solve it:

-pressed fn+num block
-use troubleshooter
  • uninstall keyboard drivers and then reboot
  • downloaded sharpkey to assign keys manually
  • the keyboard isn't very dirty
-restore the PC to a restore point

None of the above worked.

I dont have an external keyboard.

I would appreciate your help

My model is : Dell inspiron 3458

Boot the system in Safe Mode and test it then. Form the way it's acting the keyboard at least needs to be cleaned up and re-seat the connection to the motherboard or it needs to be replaced.

When i use it in safe mode, some keys are fixed, but the rest are not. Looks like a hardware problem then?

Yes it does.

Last thing you can try is to make a Linux Live boot disk and boot off that, that will rule out anything that could be software since you will be running a different operating system off the USB drive.
