touchpad not working even though it says it is enabled under settings. The appropriate F button doesn't change anything. I have removed the wireless mouse, but it doesn't help. The touchpad doesn't work.
I have a correctly updated driver for the touchpad/mouse.

Does the external mouse work fine? (wireless or wired). If so, and nothing else is fixing this, then you may well have a hardware issue. In that case I would either contact the manufacturer, if it is under warranty, or try a local tech.
