My laptop will not boot up through regular methods and gets a error message from using the recovery disks

It could be an imminent and catastrophic hard disk failure.

I recommend you remove it and buy a USB converter to connect it to another PC to and remove your personal files before it's too late.

When that's done, run Windows Checkdisk to see if it can find and fix any disk errors but I think it's past that stage.
