Replacing it would involve ordering a replacement screen (make sure it is compatible with your device), taking the device apart, removing the broken screen, and then connecting the replacement.
In most cases, it is a better idea to find a professional repair service in your local area to avoid further damaging your device--unless, of course, you're confident in your ability to take apart and reassemble the device properly on your own.
Hi kristin mine also cracked. i am planning to replace it myself. I couldnt find any video guide. However theres a helpful teardown guide in myfixguide.com and a pdf of the hardware manual is also available online.
Theres digitizer alone as well as digitizer+lcd combo available online in aliexpress.com and ebay.com.
Some say its easier to buy digitizer+lcd combo though its costlier.(~55$).
I havent ordered one yet.
Please share the link if you get a video guide
