My LG Stylo 2 isn't seeing my SD card

My LG Stylo 2 isn't seeing my SD card, It is the correct card. This is the 2nd card I have tried. I have put it in and rebooted several times.
There is no option to mount the card. It just doesn't see it. Other than getting a new phone what are my options. Not spending money on another card.

It shouldn't need to 'mount' the card. Most phones do it automatically. What do you mean it doesn't see it? Is it a specific app you are trying to use that isn't accessing the card, or are you trying to 'see' it another way?

Is it running Marshmallow (6.x) or Nougat(7.x)? Carrier?

I bought the same device. Still using.

Marshmallow didn't see it. A quirk by Google policy regarding SD cards and storage from Ice Cream Sandwich through Marshmallow.

Upgraded to Nougat, via an update sent by LG and Boost Mobile two years ago.

Policy reversed!

SD card is now visible on the file manager and storage directory. Shows as Portable. If possible go on your carrier's website and look for a list of updates. There might also be a community forum on the site for the same information, along with links to obtain the file. Dark display option, improvements in battery and security. Maturity and stability. Made my phone run like new. Highly recommended.
