SD Card Unavailable

My android phone showing 'SD Card Unavailable' option in system UI even if I had inserted the SD Card. The mount/dismount option is also disabled in my phone's settings>Storage section. I have also tried putting it on other phones but still faces same issue. Can someone please help me with this? How can I restore my data in SD Card even if it's corrupted? Really needs help

Many laptops have a slot to accept a Micro SdCard. If you can find someone who has a Linux system in one such a laptop you would have a fighting chance.

I've had a few successes in Linux systems but none in Windows when the card had been in an Android device first.
