My Mic does not work for Steam

Hello
I have come across an issue with Steam. I cannot get my mic to work. I have tried different USB ports as well as a whole different mic. I am using the M-Audio U1000 and a Blue Snowball. They both work in other applications, just not steam. Is there any fixes for this? Thanks in advance

For anyone else having this problem, to fix it you need to disable Nvidia Share if you are using the beta of GeForce Experience.
