My PC monitor started having some kind of problem..

Hi,

It seems like a hardware problem but please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then power it on and see if it will display normally.
- If it will load normally to the desktop screen, proceed with doing a clean install of the graphics driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to the graphics card.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- And after the reboot do observe the laptop again.
- But if the same problem will persist, connect an external monitor and see if it will display normally or not.
- If the external monitor will have the same problem them the problem lies in the GPU itself and a repair is needed.
