My phone freezes randomly and then it's hard to turn it on again !

I have a MT6582 device which freezes frequently. There isn't anything specific related to the software which makes it more likely to freeze...it is just random. However, when I pat it in the back it freezes instantly.
When that happens, it takes 2-3 times of battery removal and patting till it restarts.
What's wrong with it?

P.S : Factory resetting, re-flashing the firmware, installing a custom ROM. I've done it all but the situation is same. That makes me conclude that the problem is not related to the software.

Which phone is it exactly?

If it has a removable battery, check if the contacts are correctly aligned and have always contact to the phone´s connections

try the phone without SIM card and SD card
