My power doesn't charge consistently.

No matter if I move the computer, the cord or nothing at all; it'll just stop charging. The light on the adapter lights up just fine, it's the connection to the computer that I have to constantly jiggle or move the computer around to get it working. Can anyone help me with the diagnosis?

If it needs to be 'jiggled' then either the end of the charger cord or the charger port are in need of replacing.

If the laptop is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer.
