Well let's not start a big debate (and by that I mean"get nasty", I would like to reply to you purely as a response for the title Post)

Yes the laptop is more versatile providing many services such as porn aside from gaming. Yes it's portable, everyone should have a laptop capable of gaming for mobility. And I will give this laptop some credit as having a good balance in features and hardware to make it a good purchase.

But,

The title says, which one for gaming experience. You can sell the laptop all you want, that gtx1050 ain't worth crap, coupled with a low end cpu, here comes heat throttling, and here comes "oh my laptop can't play that game".

For example PS4 pro, half the price about? You've got, VR (can the laptop do that?), 4k...

Laptop vs PS4 for gaming experience?

PS4. Consistent performance, games are tweaked to run well. Large variety of games. Don't have to worry if you have good enough hardware to play games that are on the shelf. Relaxed gaming, not stuck trying to squeeze yourself onto a laptop.... I guess that's enough reasons

Your laptop would perform better, plus it includes the native monitor and you wouldn’t have to buy your own, like you would with a console.

While you’re true, let’s compare a PS4 to a laptop

Laptop pros:
- more versatile, can run other applications besides games
- better performance, better hardware
- more portable
- included peripherials

Laptop cons:
- will have to be upgraded eventually, doesn’t support cross-platform for some games

PS4 Pros:
- cheaper
- better game optimization

PS4 Cons:
- not portable
- PS+ must be purchased for online content
- games tend to cost more (overwacth $60 vs $40)
- does not include display
- games are capped under 60 FPS

Now the part about ps+, yep, got too dish out a "little bit" of cash. Although, ps+ gets free games every month... 1 major title usually accompanied by some 2nd/3rd rate titles. And I'll mention it again, you're paying almost half of what the laptop costs. The benefits of going with a PS4 pro majorly outweigh the advantages of a laptop in the case of "better for gaming"

PS4 pro is the way.

I’m mistaken, perhaps I was looking at a different model, I thought this laptop had a 1060.

Yes I agree, if it has a 1050 (which can’t put out frames for the life of it) then the PS4 is a better choice.
