My Samsung Galaxy tablet won't charge

My Samsung Galaxy tab 3 won't charge? No matter how many different chargers I use, it just won't charge up enough to turn in back on?
I don't want to Chuck it away until I can get it back on & back up all my data. Any help much appreciated.

This is going to sound a bit weird ... but it worked for me with several devices with batteries that were hard to get to.

Clean the charger socket wit ha tooth brush.

Put the tablet in a sealed plastic bag then put it in your freezer for 2 to 3 hrs.

Take it out and out of the the bag ... and place it on charge.

It worked for me.
