my samsung galaxy tablet wont rotate

Even if the screen auto rotate is on , it wont go back on how it shoud be (straight) I mean it can go left and right and upside down but it wont go back on being straight even if I put it standing up please help

Are you sure you've got it right-side-up to begin with? Usually Android won't let it turn upside down, so you may be confused as to which side is up

This may be a generalized answer, but usually, restarting or removing the battery while the device is still on, solves issues like that all the time.

I just had this problem and a phone reset didn't fix it, but taking the battery out while the phone was turned on did fix it. So... many thanks for this advice!
