my samsung s2 wont charge. it is showing 0 percent charged

yesterday I bought a new Samsung s2 battery. and it is not working properly. it is draining very fast and battery gone till 100-40 percent and after phone become switch off. and today battery is not charging.and showing 0 percent. I am frustrating from my phone. Plz help

Could just be an issue with the battery. Is this an official Samsung battery replacement, or at least one from a reputable dealer? Fake/faulty batteries are all over the place.

It is original battery. I buy online from paytm.

I had the same problem, try taking out the battery then putting it back in and starting the phone
