my satellite toshiba a305 s6862 cannot boot

Hi,

Can you please give us more information to what's happening with your laptop? Here are some basic troubleshooting steps about boot issues.
- Perform a hard reboot, turn the laptop off then remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- Next to try if the laptop will not boot up is to reseat the RAM's, remove them all for couple of seconds then put them back in making sure everything is seated properly.
- If the laptop is powering on but not loading in Windows, do try loading it in Safe Mode.
- While the laptop is booting up repeatedly press on F8 until it loads Advanced Boot Option then select Safe Mode.
- Once Safe Mode has loaded, do perform System Restore. Do restore the laptop to an earlier date or time before the problem even happened.
- Here's how to run System Restore: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-PH/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc
- If all these will not work, unfortunately the last option would be to reinstall Windows.
