my sd card is bunk!

My phone has been factory reset a couple of days now. I lost all data which was OK, because I got most of my contacts back,just by request.But I went to take more pics and video and my Kyocera boost mobile with internal SD says mount SD card. This phone did not come with any place to stick an SD card. And when I bought it I did not have to buy an SD card. So,why is it doing this
