My solo beats help!!

I got a new pair of beats for christmas but after like a week they started to sound horrible. They sound like I'm underwater how can i fix them. The bass and everything is good just not the artist when they sing.

Check you're equalizer on your playback device. It sounds like it has too much bottom end most likely around 125-250hz and if pulling that out doesn't work, then try boosting 2-5khz.
