my tablet will not turn on please help

I was on my rca android tablet earlier and it was working fine and after i set it down for a second the screen went black like it does when you dont mess with it for five min and now it wont turn back on!!! There is a reset button on the side of it but what will that do or how do i get my screen back on?

Press and hold power + volume up + volume down, it will force shutdown tablet. Press it for 10 secs and try powering up usually. Once happened same with my brother's tablet when I was playing with it but I luckily made it work. If this doesn't works go to RCA help desk:
