I,bought the the TCL tv from Brands Mart USA. Com I installed the the tv plug it in, when I opened it the screen is black no sound no images white lines all over the screen.

Sounds like a bad out of the box TV. You can unplug it from the AC and plug it back in. If you don't have a source connected to it you should still get to the home screen. If not then bring it back to Brands Mart. Not unusual to get a DOA set.

As said above, it sounds like it is defective. Is there a "Menu" or "Setup" button on the remote? or perhaps on the tv itself?
