My toshiba satellite a205 freezes when power is conected

Looking for a solution to to this problem: My toshiba satellite A205 freezes when i connect the AC power adapter. It works fine with battery.

The system runs faster when AC power is connected. I suspect your system is overheating due to operating at a higher speed. Have you cleaned the dust from your system lately?
