Solved! My windows 7 cant recognize my usb flash

i just buy a toshiba laptop when i insert mu usb flash drive nothing appear on the screen.what should i do so as it can recognize it.

Have you tried another USB slot? Sometimes that works. If not, try finding the drive's driver online (at the maker's support site) and manually install it.
