Question My Yoga Tab 3 YT3-X50F pixelated when booting to recovery mode

Every time I reboot into recovery mode after holding vol down and power the enter screen just goes weirdly pixelated - how to recover recovery mode?

Is it only getting that way when trying to reset it or is it doing this in any mode?

Just when I try and reset. It boots up fine. I've done a factory reset and still recovery mode just goes to a weird pixelated screen.

That is extremely odd. It makes me wonder if there is something on the tablet that is causing it. Basically trying to keep you from resetting the device by messing with the display.

Have you checked the tablet for viruses, malware, bad apps, etc?

It's new, so nothing installed yet. I'm going to do a system update and see if that helps.

If it is new, then I would consider contacting the manufacturer.
