Myspace Sells Its Soul to Facebook

What I foresee: Standardization of a Social Networking protocol. Like email, it will have a standard format of what basic functions is has to have, and your provider (Gmail/Yahoo, or in this case, Facebook/myspace) will have features that provide a front-end to the standard without violating it.

Ok, so it's not likely to happen AT ALL, but one can hope... I only have hope because if it does get standardized, there's likely to be security standards (e.g. settings for who sees your info).

MyFaceBookSpace :)

MySpacebook. I was told a business didn't have a soul, but MY BAD, I guess MySpace "had" one... ;-)

No one needs to know all this stuff about you. These sites suck and so do their privacy protections.

It's all becoming one big mess!
Pretty soon they need to start up a new website that will evenly distribute all info from Myspace, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Xanga, and MSN on one page. YASN would be a great name for such a site (Yet Another Social Network).

so now I have to deal with farmville AND crappy myspace bands when I want to message a friend?
