Hello,

I have a old N4CE Speaker set I have been using for YEARS and upon moving house have I recently just discovered that they have 3 inputs on the back being:
- Front (STEREO)
- SURROUND
- CE/SW

How it currently working is plugging one 3.5mm jack into the "Front" port. straight to my pc, which seems to work but is only stereo. Is there a way to use all of these inputs to get true 5:1 surround sound on my pc?

My motherboard is a MSI Gaming 5 Z97 and has a built in sound card with 5 inputs, can I use any of these?

Thanks in advance,
Joe

Solution
Yes you should be able to with two additional 3.5mm jacked stereo cables.

Line-Out from motherboard should be connected to FRONT (STEREO)
RS-Out from motherboard should be connected to SURROUND
CS-Out from motherboard should be connected to CE/SW
