Hi,
I'm so old school...

Still using Office 2000 and for some time now I've been using the MS compatibility pack to open and save DOCX files.

I've always had this warning pop up window when trying to save in this format asking me if I really want to do it as some of the functions in a file may not be compatible with the 2007 format.

Hitting the Enter key to confirm has grown old - how can I get rid of the warning?

Thanks a bunch!

You're probably not going to like the answer - don't use 15-year old software if you don't like how it handles modern day file formats. Or just stick with .DOC format, and leave the other party to deal with it.

It's not the matter if I like it or not. Rather if you were helpful or not. So if your car breaks down do you expect your mechanic to tell you "You can't use it anymore" and you obey him or do you look for another guy to have a look at it?

Your mechanic' answer is more like "If you want to use that nitrogen booster, you have to enable it every time, your car was not designed for that".

Do you really use your cars for hundreds of thousands of miles and make them last decades?
Moving on to new technology has its merits.
Apart from not supporting newer technologies, using older cars/software can actually cost you more money in the long term. Cars in more maintenance costs/worse gas mileage, software in time wastage/lost business.
